Jay Flatley is demo'ing an Illumina application for iPad to store
personal genomes(was previously developed for iPhone, but failed due
to insufficient processing power). His app captures pedigree and
integrates with MS Health Vault as well as capturing other phenotypes
such as fitness, plus there's an ability to share your profile. Maybe
we send a "tech" to PGP participants with an Illumina-enabled iPad to
capture phenotypes? I don't think Google Health let's you capture
pedigree. Flatley says its not going into app store, and it will go
out with genomes. App developed by 2 people in 2 weeks - very early
stages.
